NTU Electric car NV-11
The NV-11 is an electric car prototyped by the NTU school of mechanical engineering under the mentorship of professor Ng Heong Wah.
Final Year Project - ORB module
ORB is a region to region specific transport targeted at office workers. The vehicle will bring a group of commuters who lives in close proximity to one another back to their residential estate, through a ride-sharing system. During their commute, commuters can choose their seating orientation, and this enables them to meet people with similar backgrounds and preferences, maximising the use of their time during travels.
SMRT - NTU Innovation Challenge (2nd place)
SMRT has put forward an innovation challenge in the areas of engineering and marketing, to propose and come up with concepts to solve existing engineering solutions, and how to market them.
Dyson - NTU Innovation Challenge (1st place)
Dyson has proposed an innovation challenge to students to come up with more efficient and intelligent storage system that incorporates industry 4.0 to store goods.
Global Drive (in Collaboration with TUM)
Global drive is a collaboration project between students from TUM and NTU, to create a futuristic transportation interior.
Royal Carribean Design (3rd place)
The Royal Caribbean has put forward a challenge to students, to conceptualise and develop never before seen, innovative ideas for a cruise ship targeted at millennials, focusing on three key aspects – entertainment, activities, and accommodation.
IKEA Young Designer Awards 2017 (1st place)
This year (2017) the IKEA Singapore young designer awards will kick off with a 18-hour Ideathon. The Ideathon will focus on students working individually or up to groups of 3 to come up with game-changing ideas to address issues on Climate Change.
Shell Imagine the future 2050 (1st place)
The “Imagine the Future” Scenarios Competition (the “Competition”) is a competition organised by Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd. The Competition asks Participants to develop scenarios for “More and cleaner energy in Asia Pacific and Middle East cities in 2050: How residents live, work and play”.
